Grateful Friday

As we indulged in beloved tradition this evening, I'm so very grateful.

There is so much I could kvetch about...
the fact that I am lied about;
the fact that I'm not the only one;
the fact that my prayers seem to go unanswered,
and people are hurting.

But, I'm not going to kvetch, I choose to be grateful.

Grateful for the prayers that are answered to my way of thinking.

Grateful for the ones that are willing to stand beside me in righteousness.

Grateful for beautiful souls that I have the honor to love.

Grateful for my children who exhibit mature growth.

I'm ever grateful for comforts; flickering candles, the warmth of good wine and the centuries of others who have prayed the same prayers.

I'm grateful for sunshine despite heartbreak.

I'm grateful for fresh air.

I'm grateful for places that take Goodwill.

I'm grateful for the patience of Job. B"H!

I'm grateful for Jedi.

I'm grateful that I have the freedom to be grateful for Jedi.

I'm grateful for hugs.

I'm grateful for my camera, for living history museums and picnic lunches with invaluable friends.

I'm grateful for great Star Wars quotes...

"You'd think you Jedi would know the difference between knowledge and...wisdom."

I'm grateful for court appearances that go well.

I'm grateful for phone calls that make me feel wanted and needed.

I'm grateful for the hope of those around me - I hope they are right.

I'm grateful for my costuming friends - they are some of the most awesome people I've ever known.

I'm grateful for Sabbath rest.

So, what are you grateful for this week?

I am at a loss for words as you have spoken most of those in my own heart for gratitude.
I'm grateful also for friends and Jedi who are of like mind in how we relate as brothers and sisters in the family of the Most High.
I am most grateful for the way my path as been laid across those of such fine people. They humble me and teach me, and cause me to pause with some guilt that I cannot do more for them and their troubles.
I'm grateful for the kind touch and word that lift me from feelings of loss and despair. This makes me look forward to returning the favor whenever and wherever it is needed.
Thank you for your example of gratitude!
