A Note for Faithful Readers

I love blogging. I love writing. I love reading blogs, seeing others create blogs and I especially think it's cool if people can make money on their efforts blogging.

I started out with this blog, affectionately called the Temple blog. It was my baby and had everything; photographs, travel journals, spiritual opinions, letterboxing adventures, and of course, stories of my Star Wars costuming hobby. I have ruminated on many things, not least of which has been my faith, my experiences walking in that faith and where that journey is taking me. Truly, all those diverse topics together was too much, and as it grew, it got more and more unfocused.

So, I created a crafting/letterboxing blog - My H'Art in Rubber - to be home for everything crafty and pertaining to the fascinating and fun hobby of letterboxing. It has been a successful blog even though I haven't been posting much as of late. (I'm hoping my desire to craft will return eventually.)

Second, I created a photography blog - S N A P - to be the place to host special photographs, talk about photography and collect some special quotes along the way. One of my favorites, to be sure. (Currently, I'm posting a pic every day as part of the 365 Challenge. Too much fun!)

At this point, I was happy. The temple blog was cookin' along, still with quite a mixed bag of content. Little by little, and as life situations progressed, I realized that it was the spiritual content that was dominating the blog. Grateful Fridays really took off and I found myself writing on faith-based issues at least once or twice a week. My personal study increased and fueled even more posts. I finally came to the conclusion, along with encouraging prodding by my close friends, that I needed to break out the faith-based posts into their own blog with a specific purpose.

Introducing my newest endeavor, For He Who Loves. It is a place to poke around various topics and read up on articles that were intended to be sometimes meditative, always provoking, even gently challenging a bit. I hope you take some time to head over there and check it out. I will be posting new content there regarding faith issues, religious observations and musings about theology and doctrine. (I just posted a new article about Passover you may be interested in reading.) And, as always, I welcome your comments.

The weekly Grateful Friday posts will remain on the Temple blog - as my good friend put it, "it's just part of the fabric of the Temple blog." Travel posts, poetry, personal rants and the ever-popular Star Wars content will continue to be featured, as well.

So, that's the latest. Thank you so much for reading and responding - I appreciate my readers!

Your blogging journey has become part of my own history, my friend. Part of my daily experience. When I am away, I am eager to return. When I am reading . . . well, it's the perfect companion, along with a glass of wine and flannel jams. It really doesn't get much better than this. ;-)

You have such a wealth of topics, both blogs stand to benefit. This was a good decision.
