Grateful Friday

I am grateful. No matter what happens in my life, the LORD is faithful to bring me right back to that which is most important - to love Him and all those around me. The very first thing I can do to show my love for Him is to appreciate and be grateful for all that He provides.

I'm grateful for emotions that remind me that I'm alive.

I'm grateful that He is our Healer, in whatever form that takes.

I'm grateful that He is our Comforter, coming close to us even in our most desperate hour(s).

I'm grateful that He enables me to love others.

I'm grateful for my three young people - I'm so proud of them.

I'm grateful that my husband works hard and was rewarded for his efforts.

I'm grateful for Via instant coffee when we run out of the 'real' stuff.

I'm grateful for all the years of service given by Pastor Buntain...may He be blessed by our LORD.

I'm grateful for glimpses of sunshine.

I'm grateful for awesome blogs.

I'm grateful for music that soothes the soul.

I'm grateful to feel wanted and needed.

I'm grateful for inspiring craft stores that I can wander around in for a very long time.

I'm grateful for cool looking reading glasses.

I'm grateful to have things to look forward to.

I'm grateful for funny youtube videos.

I'm grateful for clarity of thought.

I'm grateful for times of study with my friends...and alone, too.

I'm grateful for medication to help make a headache go away.

I'm grateful for humility, compassion and love whenever I see it.

I'm grateful for cell phones, texting and the internet that allows us all to keep in touch.

I'm grateful for words of wisdom.

I'm grateful for the fruit of the Spirit.

I'm grateful for my dentist.

I'm grateful for hair dryers.

I'm grateful for the gift of a book from a friend.

I'm grateful when friends get to go to Israel.

I'm very grateful that the LORD will accomplish His will regardless of the missteps of His people.

I'm thankful when learning to read turns a corner and the reader first picks up a book because he wants to read it. May it continue!

I'm thankful the Lord has given me friends, true friends, near and far who have taken the time to know me -- and still love me. I don't know what they say to the Lord when they pray for me, but that's probably best. I have no doubt He answers their prayers.

So grateful for my health. I'm not the "picture of" it, but I'm thankful for it.

I'm thankful that I feel safe on so many levels.

I'm thankful for the trio of azaleas, wisteria, and bridal wreath -- the deep pinks, the lavenders, and the whites that love to bloom beside one another for a brief but beautiful welcome of spring.

And more...

I'm grateful for thrift stores to poke around in - and for Sunny's new scratching post!

I'm grateful that the L-rd has rescued me from so very much...

I'm grateful for the end of another week of labor. To work, and then to enter in and enjoy G-d's rest.

I'm grateful that in spite of rain and wind and snow, the buds are beginning to reveal their blossoms, the daffodils are blooming, and the birds are many and active.

I'm grateful for technology that allows us to connect with one another even though we may be miles apart.

I'm grateful for doctors and nurses that are competent and capable. They help us heal.

I'm grateful for friends who share a common desire to serve the Creator of the Universe.

For cousins who feel comfortable enough with us to make last minute plans.

For liturgy that resonates with my soul.
