Grateful Friday

The LORD always provides...

I'm grateful for fat robins hoppin' around in the wet grass.

I'm grateful for the sunshine kissing brand-new buds on my lilac bush.

There is only one happiness in life—to love and be loved.

I'm grateful for no more snow and for the smell of spring in the air.

I'm grateful for a good conversation with my beloved MIL, Josie.

I'm grateful for happy thoughts.

“Who is the happiest of men?
He who values the merits of others,
and in their pleasure takes joy
even as though t'were his own.”
~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I'm grateful to have gotten to see Star Wars The Phantom Menace two times.

I'm grateful for things working out well.

I'm grateful for the staff at my doctor's office.

I'm grateful for my besties.

“If you wish to experience peace, provide peace for another.”
~Tenzin Gyatso

I'm grateful for Snapography.

I'm grateful for the festival of Purim and that we all had such a wonderful time.

I'm grateful when I get cents off the gas price at 'rewards' grocery stores.

The tree can teach you forbearance and tolerance.
It offers shade to all, irrespective of age, sex or religion, nationality or status.
It helps with fruit and shade even to the foe who lays his axe on its trunk!

I'm grateful for hugs and kisses from my dad.

I'm grateful for laughter.

I'm grateful for a washer and dryer that work.

Treat everyone with kindness
even those who are rude to you...
not because they are nice, but because you are.

I'm grateful for youtube videos about the fine art of hand-quilting.

I'm grateful when my phone(s) work.

I'm grateful for ATM machines when and where we need them.

I'm grateful to be a part of a wonderful and loving choir.

True religion is real living; living with all one's soul,
with all one's goodness and righteousness.”
~Albert Einstein

I'm grateful for food - especially when I'm hungry.

I'm grateful for those dreams where you get to see those you cannot see in real life.

I'm grateful for the smile on the face of a child.

Health is the greatest gift,
contentment the greatest wealth,
faithfulness the best relationship.

I'm grateful for wisdom and grace.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to hold open the door for others and giving them a smile to make them feel at ease.

I'm grateful that my car is still running.

I'm grateful for beautiful things to photograph.

“Nothing is so strong as gentleness, nothing so gentle as real strength”
~St. Francis de Sales

I'm grateful when I get a good night of sleep.

I'm grateful for my alarm clock with a snooze button.

I'm grateful for paper, pens and pencils. Oh, and sticky notes.

I'm grateful for my cell phone which enables me to keep in touch in an instant. (I well remember how stress-relieving it was when I got one, especially the first time I was stuck in traffic with someone waiting for me!)

If a man will understand how intimately, yea, how inseparably,
self-control and happiness are associated,
he has but to look into his own heart,  and upon the world around,...
Looking upon the lives of men and women, he will perceive how the hasty word,
the bitter retort, the act of deception, the blind prejudice and foolish resentment
bring wretchedness and even ruin in their train.
~James Allen

I'm grateful for a hot cup of coffee and the good-morning greetings from those still shaking off sleep.

I'm grateful for laying down at night after a day of living.

I'm grateful the sound of the rain dripping from the eaves, the sound of birds in the morning and the song of the crickets at dusk.

I'm grateful for
love,
joy,
peace,
forbearance,
kindness,
goodness,
faithfulness,
gentleness
and self-control.

What are you grateful for this week?
