For children who are healthy, for friends whose smiles fill up their whole faces, for a house to live in and for cupcakes.

Right now I'm looking up at five little green lights on my modem/router. I know they are just five little lights, but for me they say that I am connected -- and that means far more than meets the eye. So thankful.

For cash flow that went much better than expected.
For starting a volunteer job that allows me to give back to my local community.
For the sun that is shining today.
For avenues to pursue mind stimulation as a barricade against old age CRS.

This time of year, when daylight is short, and night time is long, I get to feeling a bit glum. Being grateful for the things G-d has blessed me with is a sure-fire way to get out of the doldrums. I am to thankful to you, my friend, for pointing the way. Your Grateful Friday postings each week are food for my thirsty soul.
