Grateful Friday

I'm grateful for beautiful weather for Padawan's birthday!

I'm grateful that Morgan is feeling better after starting antibiotics for strep.

I'm grateful for all the wonderful times she is having at camp.

I'm grateful for our FABULOUS study on Shabbat!

I'm grateful for words of healing.

I'm grateful that Lisa and I were able to take a day to sit with a friend in crisis. It was like sitting shiva.

I'm grateful that the LORD orders all things.

I'm grateful that my dearest friends feel very comfortable in my home.

I'm grateful that my husband never questions when I serve a friend in crisis.

I'm grateful that, for all the cops that have tailed me while having expired tabs, none of them pulled me over. (Now, I want to be grateful to get the part for my car so I can get the stupid emission test, then buy tabs!)

I'm grateful that it's not 40 degrees outside.

I'm grateful for my new purse. Not only was it on sale, but I am kinda thinkin' it's the perfect purse. Could it be??

I'm grateful for glorious sunshine.

I'm grateful for wireless at the car dealership.  Actually, I'm grateful for wi-fi anywhere that has it available for free to the public.  What an awesome thing - I hope one day wireless is available everywhere.

I'm grateful for body lotion.

I'm grateful for free game apps for the iTouch - Tay really enjoys playing them.

I'm grateful for voicemail.

I'm grateful for the gift of laughter.

I'm grateful for breath in my lungs and for my heart that continues to beat.

I'm grateful for clean running water and stoves to heat up tea water.

I'm grateful for clean dishes and silverware so I don't need to eat with my hands...and disposable napkins.

I'm grateful for fluffy towels and clean sheets.

I'm grateful eye cream that somehow disguises the wrinkles that are multiplying faster than I can count and for hair color that covers the grey hair that is appearing faster than the wrinkles.

I'm grateful for hugs from Rebecca.

I'm grateful that I can still (just barely) fit into the roller skates I've had since I was 14.

I'm grateful for understanding and compassion. I'm grateful for wisdom and love from those who are called by His name.

What are you grateful for this week?

I am grateful that after all you have been through and all you continue to bear, you are still pressing on. You know the source of your strength, and it shows. You know that He is directing your steps, and that shows, too. Those that watch will learn more about trust than you can ever imagine. I call that sacrificial, dear one.

How grateful I am that the Lord of all the Universe has chosen you for His own and has promised to hold you and to keep you. If I didn't know this was true . . .

*sigh*

AND...I am grateful for Tay. Period. He is so dear.
