Grateful Friday

I am grateful that authors write bible studies for us to use as jumping off places for excellent discussion. I'm so grateful for our little group that meets every week.

I'm grateful that my children are willing to Passover clean without too much whining.

I'm grateful for happy voices and laughter in my house.

I'm grateful we were able to send Morgan to driver training - such a good thing.

I'm grateful for the place of refuge that is worship.

I'm grateful...oh, so grateful...to be able to see the mountain after a long stretch of overcast!

"Two silk worms had a race...
It ended in a tie."

I'm grateful for corny jokes sometimes...especially when they come from a friend I haven't heard from in a while - I'm grateful for her friendship!

I'm grateful for Lisa coming over to help with the cleaning.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to deepen friendships.

I'm grateful for a really great dentist and all the fabulous friends that work there.

I'm grateful for a fabulous matzah ball soup recipe.

I'm grateful that the LORD told us to love each other.

I'm grateful for hot water and soap.

I'm grateful we have electricity in our house.

I'm grateful I have friends to share my life with.

I'm grateful that I got the last inchie swap out...with help.  Thanks, Lis!

Well, three more action-packed days 'til Passover...can I make it? Haha! It's always a challenge to get everything done for the biggest feast of the year, as well as singing in the choir for the easter program. I'm grateful for purposeful things to do, though...I'd rather be too busy doing things that actually matter than being bored and feeling useless and melancholy, that's for sure!

I'm grateful for a wonderful time of singing and being with my good friend Cherrie last night.

I'm grateful for fun finds at the local craft store.

I'm grateful for a very clean house!

I'm grateful for the quiet hour or so in the morning - it gives me the opportunity to wake up prior to anyone requiring intelligent conversation!

I'm grateful for the loving kiss goodbye I get every morning from my Handsome Prince.

I'm grateful for the comfort of the liturgy and the awesome feeling of being part of a group of Spirit-filled souls saying them all together...not because they have to, but because they want to.

I'm thankful for Febreze. Yeah, the fabric deodorizer. *smile* And all-purpose cleaner, window cleaner and laundry soap. These things make my life smell sooooo much better!

I'm thankful the garbage man comes once a week and takes away the trash; I'd hate to think what it would be like if he didn't.

I'm thankful for my memories of Israel.

I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!" Our feet have been standing within your gates,
O Jerusalem!

Jerusalem--built as a city that is bound firmly together, to which the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD. There thrones for judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! "May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!" For my brothers and companions' sake I will say, "Peace be within you!" For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good.

What are you grateful for this week?

I'm thankful for external hard drives . . . and wishing I had shown my gratitude by using them more often.

I'm also thankful for a certain little one who has more affection than he knows how to contain.
