Grateful Friday

I don't really feel like posting a Grateful Friday this morning.  Circumstances in my life have taken a turn that I was hoping would not happen...diligently hoping.  But it would seem that I have to face facts and adjust my thinking and life.  I never thought it would be like this, but I absolutely must follow the will of the Master.  Period.

To that end, I will post the 'gratefuls' that I had collected through the week...

I am so thankful that I have this blog and the ability to speak my mind (much to the chagrin of some).  I can gratefully say that I am not ashamed of anything I have written here or anywhere else.

I want to be grateful for the opportunity to meet with others and be heard, but it didn't turn out quite like I had hoped.  I'm still grateful that the LORD gave me the experience.

I'm grateful for my good friends all over the country and even over the pond. They are precious to me.

I'm grateful that I have wonderful friends who are willing to pray, diligently pray, for me and my circumstances.

I'm grateful for cell phones and unlimited minutes.

I'm grateful for my daughter - she is awesome.

I'm grateful that a good friend got only a 'wake-up call' and not tragedy.

I'm grateful for forgiveness.

I'm oh so grateful that I got to have an email exchange with someone that I haven't talked to for 9 weeks.  What an honor, even though I tried my best to screw it up.  They were so patient.  I'm so humbled.

I'm grateful for all the birthday wishes I received on Tuesday.  Again, humbled.

I'm grateful for my dear, dear friends - they are true treasures!

I am grateful for the opportunity to be heard.

I'm grateful for my friend Barb - she is an amazing woman of integrity and righteousness. What an inspiration.

I'm grateful for a wonderful birthday - gosh, I'm blessed.

I'm grateful for the three handmade birthday wishes I received.

I'm grateful that my daughter enjoys doing laundry. (I know, strange.)

I'm grateful for payday.

“Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character.”

~T. Alan Armstrong

I'm grateful for sleep and that my baby, who is now 12, still wants to come sleep with me in the bed after a nightmare.

I'm grateful for G-d's timing.

I'm grateful for prayer and the "small, still voice".

I'm grateful for my dentist office - they love me there!

I'm grateful and humbled that, despite my circumstances, G-d still chooses to use me in ways I would never imagine to touch people and serve them for His glory.

What are you grateful for this week?
