Grateful Friday

I'm grateful for a new website I found that really was uplifting - I think you will like it, too.

I'm grateful that my husband fixed the broken light in the library.  Now I don't have to sit in a cave while I'm on the computer!

I'm grateful that my daughter has good friends.

I'm grateful for the little bit of cash I have in my purse.

I'm grateful that my daughter is a trusted babysitter, and for the sweet, little 3 year old voice that rang through the house for a bit this week.

I'm grateful that my hubby is supportive and can always tell when I'm hurting.

I'm grateful for the escape of sleep...and dreams.

I'm grateful for good friends that I've made online - they are invaluable to me.

I'm grateful that everything passes in time.  (It really does, right?)

This morning I'm grateful for the ability to get my thoughts out in words, either written or spoken.

I'm grateful that Rob has the week off and that he is hangin' out with the boys.

I'm grateful that I'm not expected to do much this week - a nice break for us all.

I'm grateful that the snow is melting rather quickly.

I'm grateful that my 12 year old wanted to go on a 'date' with his Mom.

I'm grateful that the roads are drivable.

I'm grateful that I found a good source of Wrangler jeans - I love that brand!

I'm grateful that there are boots absolutely everywhere!  I love wearing them, shopping for them, looking at others wearing them - they are awesome!

I'm grateful that good friends are coming over for dinner tonight.

I'm grateful for the wonderful time I had with Laura, Patty and Lisa yesterday - what a refreshing.  Thank you, LORD.

I'm grateful that my husband is already working on our tax information.  Wow!  He's really on it this year!

I'm grateful that the roads are not too awful and that we didn't hit any black ice while driving last night.

I'm grateful that my friend who's heater died this week has lots of space heaters to get by until it can be fixed.

I'm grateful, so very grateful, that the relationship with my husband is one that is founded on mutual respect.

I'm thankful for opportunities.

I'm grateful for hope.

Psalm 143

Hear my prayer, O LORD,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.
Do not enter into judgment with Your servant,
For in Your sight no one living is righteous.

For the enemy has persecuted my soul;
He has crushed my life to the ground;
He has made me dwell in darkness,
Like those who have long been dead.
Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me;
My heart within me is distressed.

I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah

Answer me speedily, O LORD;
My spirit fails!
Do not hide Your face from me,

Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies;
In You I take shelter.
Teach me to do Your will,

Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness.

Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake!
