Grateful Friday

“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.”
~Brian Tracy

We are back from our little road trip and it was soooo beautiful! I am most grateful for the opportunity to travel and see the beauty of the PNW - it truly is the most beautiful part of the country.

I am grateful for the opportunity to meet my best friend's mom - what a treat.  She is 89 and still smart as a whip.  It was such a delight to visit with her and I look forward to the next opportunity.

I'm grateful for AAA; I'm going to have to utilize them once again for a stupid slow leaking tire on my car.  Sure have gotten our money's worth out of that over the years!  I'm also so thankful for my local Les Schwab for their quick tire fix.  Hurray, Speeder is back on the road!

I will be forever grateful for good, true, honest friends whom the LORD has placed in my life; the ones that are not afraid to spend the time it takes for real friendship.  Without them, my life would be drab and dead.

I am thankful and grateful that my husband is willing to go to work everyday for our provision and that he likes to take his boys camping/hunting/fishing on weekends. They will have lifetime memories of their time together and I am very grateful that he is a good father.

I'm thankful for all our technology.  I love my computer (most of the time), the internet, iPod, netbook, GPS, digital camera, cell phone, etc., etc.  My life is so much richer with these tools - I'm grateful.

I am grateful for warm, summer weather; it is sure nice to have "warm bones" for a change.

What are you grateful for this week?

I was looking forward to my Friday morning blog stroll because of this. If you ever discontinue this regular "column," you'll let us know in advance, right? ;-)

This week I've been particularly grateful that my children are truly friends and not merely siblings. As they grow older, it seems more and more true. I can't adequately describe how it feels to watch them desire each other's company and miss each other when apart.

Yes, I realize it's Sunday, but I'll add my grateful things now anyway! :o)

I'm grateful for that first cup of coffee in the morning.

And, for the laughter we share so often.

And, that my Jedi belt still fits!!! :o)
Woohoo! A Padawan that can't breathe is not a good thing, I'm thinkin'! lol!
