A Wonderful Meander

A beautiful sunny summer day, two friends with cameras and no plans...sounds wonderful! We headed over the Narrows Bridge to the west side of Washington State to see what we could see. We stopped and ate eclairs in Poulsbo, wandered a farmer's market in Port Gamble and poked around gifty shops in Port Townsend. We drove the Dungeness Scenic Loop in Sequim and were awed again at the beauty of Lake Crescent. Ending up at the stunning Ruby Beach, we were surprised to find it socked in with fog!

I hope you enjoy some of the best shots of the day.

Love those meanders . . . I've actually been thinking about Sequim lately. ;-)
Yes, MC, the lavender was absolutely wonderful. You could just smell it all in the air. It is a beautiful vivid darker purple this year for some reason - just stunning. We definitely thought of you! :-)
